Scouts  BSA  Troop 930

Reidsville, Georgia

Troop 930 started in Reidsville, Tattnall County, Georgia. From some of the records we have come across over the years, the troop started back in the 1930's. In 2012 or 2014 the troop closed  for a few years moving to Glennville, Ga as Pack 929. Now that we have some youth that would like to get more involved, we have decided to open it back up again. More information will be posted once we learn more about the history of our Troop.

We feel the Scouts BSA is great for helping the youth build more independent characters and to be better members of society. The Scouts are supposed to walk through life living their best selves. They are to walk a code that consists of being Loyal, Trustworthy, Helpful, Friendly, Obedient, Courteous, Brave, Kind, Reverent, and Thrifty. They leave places cleaner than they found them. Observe nature without destroying it. Help where it is needed when it is needed and wanting nothing in return but the happiness and joy it beings to others. Pay it forward.
